I organised for a group of children (approx 30 kids) to march in the parade. This was an environmental awareness project called  “We love the planet”. I have attached a video below and poster of the event.  We were delighted that this was so successful and attracted the attention of all the community and won one of the prizes awarded by the parade organisers. We even made the Six O’Clock news on RTE! We used the prize money to provide a gift bag of Art material for each one of the children that participated, and also some kids that were too shy for the parade but they took part in the workshops getting the costumes ready for the parade. Thanks to the Belarmine community centre that facilitated the space for conducting a few workshops to get the costumes ready, environmental activities, and rehearsal preparation for the parade.
